The brief
The client wanted a Dolby Atmos home theatre in the living room, without opening up the ceiling for height speakers.
Absolute Sound specified the Elipson Prestige Facet range throughout. Its 6ATM Dolby Atmos modules sit directly on top of the 14F floorstanders, so the height channels needed no ceiling work, and every loudspeaker in the room comes from the same range.
The system runs a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos layout. A pair of Prestige Facet 14F floorstanders carries the front left and right channels, a Prestige Facet 11C sits at the centre for dialogue, and a pair of Prestige Facet 7SR surrounds completes the bed with a Prestige Facet Sub 8 subwoofer. Two Prestige Facet 6ATM Dolby Atmos modules, mounted on top of the 14F floorstanders, add the height channels.
