In a restaurant, a shop or an office, sound has one job: to sit under the room, not over it. Music that competes with conversation is a fault, not a feature. We zone each space so a bar can run louder than the dining room beside it, and every system is left with a control simple enough for whoever is on shift to use without a manual.

We focus on background and zoned sound, the systems a restaurant, shop or office actually runs on. PA rigs and karaoke setups are a different trade, and not one we take on.
Four kinds of room
Restaurants and bars
We zone the bar apart from the dining room, keep speakers out of sightlines, and hold a conversation at every table, from Sushi Tei on a quiet lunch to a cocktail bar like 28 HongKong Street on a full Friday night.
Retail
We fitted the sound system inside a luxury fashion house’s store: discreet zoning between the shop floor and the till, tuned to support the brand rather than compete with it, without announcing itself to shoppers.
Hotels and guest rooms
Absolute Sound is the distributor for Loewe in Singapore and Malaysia, whose televisions carry a guest-room hotel mode: locked volume, a branded welcome screen, IP and RS232 control. We also fitted restaurant sound inside a resort hotel, at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa.
Workplace and fitness
Background audio for open-plan offices, where the room should support conversation rather than compete with it, and higher-energy zoned sound for gyms and studios, tuned to carry through a full class and hold up to daily use.

How an install runs
Site visit
We come to the room while it’s running, at the hours you actually trade, so the system is designed for real noise levels and real foot traffic, not an empty space after closing.
Design and quote
You get a plan built around your room and your budget, with equipment, zoning and cabling set out clearly, and one number to sign off before anything is ordered or installed.
Install around trading
A restaurant or a shop can’t close for a fit-out. We schedule the work around service hours, in stages if the room needs it, so the doors stay open the whole time.
Service
The team that designs and installs your system also services it, from our own service centre at Wintech Centre.
