Sound System Upgrades for Active SG Gyms
Wall-mounted, in-ceiling and wide-dispersion speaker upgrades across multiple Active SG gyms, arranged by Absolute Sound and adapted to the acoustics of each individual location.

The brief
Active SG runs public sports facilities across Singapore and wanted to improve the sound in its gyms, to better energise the space during workouts.
The first job covered a single gym, where Absolute Sound installed 8-inch wide-dispersion speakers mounted to the walls, chosen to spread sound evenly across the room.
Further locations followed, each with its own combination of in-wall, in-ceiling and wide-dispersion speakers, matched to that gym’s layout and acoustics.
No two locations used the same setup. Each gym was treated as its own project, with speaker types and positions chosen to suit the space.
