Description
The Three Plus is the larger of Klipsch’s two Heritage-inspired tabletop speakers. It has real wood veneer, tactile switches and knobs, and is made for bigger rooms than the One Plus.
It is a 2.1 stereo system, biamplified: two 2.25-inch full-range drivers and a 5.25-inch long-throw woofer, with dual opposing 5.25-inch passive radiators in a bass-reflex cabinet. Klipsch lists 120W, a frequency response of 45Hz to 20kHz and a maximum output of 106dB.
The RCA input has a built-in phono pre-amp, so a turntable can be connected directly. An optical input decodes up to 24-bit/96kHz, and there is also Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C, which supports playback and reverse charging. Klipsch says it can power a WiiM Mini for network streaming.
Compared with the One Plus, the Three Plus has the larger woofer, twice the power (120W against 60W), deeper bass (45Hz against 55Hz) and the phono and optical inputs. The One Plus has a 3.5mm analogue input, which the Three Plus does not list.
