Description
The ProMedia Lumina 2.1 is Klipsch’s redesigned desktop system, a successor to the ProMedia range first introduced in 1999. It pairs two satellites with a low-profile subwoofer, and the satellites have tiltable stands.
Each satellite has a 1-inch Mylar tweeter mated to a Microtractrix horn and a 3-inch midrange, in a sealed ABS cabinet. The MDF subwoofer has a 6.5-inch side-firing woofer in a slim tube-ported cabinet, with a gain control on the back. Klipsch lists a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz (-6dB) and a maximum output of 98dB SPL.
It connects by USB-C to a computer, 3.5mm AUX or Bluetooth 5.3. There is a 3.5mm AUX output, a headset passthrough and a USB-C charging output. Each satellite carries six LEDs, which give RGB lighting with several light modes. It runs on 100 to 240V mains.
