The Flexus Surr 200 are a pair of surround speakers with elevation drivers for the Flexus Core soundbars (Core 100, Core 200 and Core 300). Each speaker has two 3-inch paper cone drivers in a sealed plastic and metal enclosure, one of them firing upwards for Dolby Atmos overhead effects.
They connect to the bar over Klipsch Transport, a 2.4GHz wireless link, using the dongle supplied. Each speaker has its own power supply and a single cable to the wall, so there is nothing to run between them. Controls, power input and LEDs are on the underside, and a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the back allows wall mounting or use on a flat surface.
The difference from the Surr 100 is the up-firing driver. The Surr 200 are taller, at 222mm against 171mm, and Klipsch quotes a higher maximum output for the pair (106dB against 103.5dB). A Flexus system takes one pair of wireless surrounds, alongside up to two wireless subwoofers.
