The Flexus Surr 100 are a pair of compact surround speakers for the Flexus Core soundbars (Core 100, Core 200 and Core 300). Each has a 3-inch paper cone driver in a sealed plastic and metal enclosure.
They connect to the bar over Klipsch Transport, a 2.4GHz wireless link, using the dongle supplied. Each speaker has its own power supply and a single cable to the wall, so there is no junction box, power adapter or speaker wire between them. The controls, power input and LEDs sit on the underside, so nothing glows in a darkened room. A 1/4-20 threaded insert on the back allows wall mounting; they also stand on a flat surface.
The Surr 100 have no up-firing driver. For overhead effects, Klipsch offers the Surr 200, which is taller (222mm against 171mm) and adds a second, up-firing 3-inch driver to each speaker. A Flexus system takes one pair of wireless surrounds, alongside up to two wireless subwoofers.
