Description
The Flexus Core 300 is a 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar, and the one in the Core range with Dirac Live room correction built in. Klipsch describes it as the first soundbar to include it. You scan the room with the Klipsch Connect Plus app and the bar corrects for the space.
It has four front-firing 2.25-inch drivers and a horn-loaded tweeter, two up-firing drivers for height, two side-firing drivers, and four built-in 4-inch subwoofers in two pairs, so no separate subwoofer is required. It decodes DTS:X as well as Dolby Atmos, takes a television over HDMI eARC, passes HDMI 2.1 through to the television, and streams over a network through AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, with Bluetooth too. Klipsch lists compatibility with Control4 and RTI systems.
Against the Core 200 it adds side-firing drivers, a wider cabinet (137 cm), Dirac Live, DTS:X decoding, HDMI pass-through and network streaming. Flexus Sub and Flexus Surr speakers can be added later over Klipsch’s transport link.
