Description
The Flexus Core 200 is a 3.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar. Four front-firing 2.25-inch aluminium drivers and a dedicated horn-loaded tweeter handle the front stage and dialogue, two 2.25-inch drivers fire upwards for the Atmos height channels, and two built-in 4-inch subwoofers cover the bass without a separate subwoofer.
Klipsch’s own description of the horn tweeter is that it keeps voices clear at low volume. It connects to the television over HDMI eARC, with optical, USB-C and Bluetooth inputs and an RCA subwoofer output. The Klipsch Connect Plus app adds EQ presets, Night Mode and Dialogue Boost.
The Core 200 sits in the middle of the Flexus range. It adds a true centre channel and physical height drivers to the Core 100, and is more powerful (185W RMS against 100W). Against the Core 300 it has no side-firing drivers, no Dirac Live room correction and no network streaming. Flexus Sub and Flexus Surr speakers can be added later.
