Description
The Flexus Core 100 is the smallest soundbar in Klipsch’s Flexus range. It is a 2.1-channel design with two 2.25-inch aluminium-cone drivers and two built-in 4-inch subwoofers, so it does not need a separate subwoofer. It is 71 cm wide and 8 cm high.
Dolby Atmos is virtualised: the bar processes Atmos but has no up-firing or elevation drivers. It connects to the television over HDMI eARC, with an optical input, USB-C and Bluetooth for other sources, and an RCA output for a subwoofer. The Klipsch Connect Plus app gives EQ presets, Night Mode and Dialogue Boost.
It is the starting point for the Flexus system. Flexus Sub and Flexus Surr speakers can be added later over Klipsch’s transport link. Against the Core 200 it has fewer drivers, no dedicated centre channel and no real elevation speakers; against the Core 300 it also lacks Dirac Live, DTS:X decoding and network streaming.
